Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Combilift and all other makes of lift trucks (diesel, electric, and LPG).
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble and test various types of electrical systems.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
• Maintain service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.
• Test mechanical equipment after repair to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers’ specifications.
• Keep shop work area, equipment, and service van clean.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines; ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver\'s license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• 5-10+ years of mechanical experience is strongly desired.
• Must possess own tools; necessary specialized tools are provided.
• Experience working on air hoists, manual hoists, and electric hoists; prior forklift experience.
