Lockheed Martin is hiring: Entry Level Technician in Courtland

First Shift: 6 AM - 4:30 PM Second Shift: 4 PM - 2:30 AM * Final shift for the selected candidate will be determined contingent upon business needs.* We're erasing boundaries and forming partnerships across industries and around the world. Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an entry level Technician to join our team in Courtland, AL! Perform washing, chemical treatments, and surface prep/application/finishing to ensure optimal Thermal Protection System (TPS) adhesion and longevity. * Prepare missile, parts, components, and surfaces, ensuring all areas are properly protected and free from contaminants. * Maintain and troubleshoot application equipment to ensure continuous operation and optimal performance in the aerospace industry. * Ensure all surfaces are prepped to exact specifications, applying advanced techniques to achieve optimal paint adhesion and a high-quality finish. Ability to perform mechanical and electrical assembly. * Ability to work day or night shift onsite in Courtland, Alabama * Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Knowledge of aircraft or autobody or similar surface preparation and coatings/painting and/or anti-corrosion chemical application and treatment * Knowledge of robotic operations * Graduate of AIDT (Alabama Industrial Development Training) Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
