Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $120,000 to $140,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and oversee the monthly close for corporate entities and self-storage properties.
  • Prepare and review monthly closing journal entries and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Record consolidation and elimination entries while preparing consolidated financial statements and analytics.
  • Assist the Controller in overseeing treasury functions and accounts payable operations.
  • Develop and implement accounting procedures and internal controls to enhance efficiency and financial accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Have 5-7+ years of accounting experience, with a mix of real estate and fund accounting preferred.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Possess strong analytical and organizational skills for managing complex financial data.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration across departments.
Qualifications:
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and organization to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to address financial challenges and improve operational efficiency.
  • Show the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Take a hands-on management approach to guide and support accounting staff effectively.
  • Hold a CPA certification (preferred) to reinforce accounting expertise and industry knowledge.
