Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $130,000 to $140,000 per year.

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and proper classification.
- Supervise accounting staff to ensure timely and precise financial reporting.
- Maintain and update process documentation, identifying risks and implementing controls.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing support and documentation for audits and control testing.
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports in compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX 404b requirements.
- A minimum of 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public company or Big Four background.
- Strong technical accounting skills, including experience with revenue recognition and complex transactions.
- Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks, especially SOX compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
- Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and support internal stakeholders effectively.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting; CPA certification is required.
- Experience in technical accounting research and drafting accounting memos.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for working with senior leadership.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to strategic financial planning.
