Description Robert Half is supporting the recruiting efforts of a company in the branding industry to find a Accounting Manager. This is a full time, permanent position in Lakewood. Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Implement and maintain accounting software systems such as BlackLine and Concur to streamline processes.
• Ensure compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements across all financial activities.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports to provide accurate insights into the company's performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to manage billing and financial transactions effectively.
• Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee ERP system usage to improve efficiency in financial operations.
• Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures to maintain internal controls.
• Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and organizational goals.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounting roles with a focus on managerial responsibilities.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including BlackLine and Concur.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and their application in financial processes.
• Experience with auditing and regulatory compliance in financial operations.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA certification preferred.
