Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $120,000 to $145,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of general ledger activity.
  • Review complex royalty calculations and statements, and manage related audits and documentation.
  • Analyze contracts to determine appropriate accounting treatment and compliance.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including performance management and task delegation.
  • Lead or support special projects, including process improvements and financial analysis.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment is preferred.
  • Prior experience with Oracle and public accounting (Big 4 or large regional firm) is a plus.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA preferred.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Ability to conduct complex financial and business analysis independently.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide and develop team members.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
