Century Group's client is looking for an Accounting Manager. You will handle the company's accounting procedures and maintains a healthy financial profile, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local principles. You'll prepare and review financial documents, reports, and statements, while advising on general financial matters. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $80,000 to $90,000 per year.

Job Description:
  • Keep accurate accounting records and files.
  • Examine budgets and create expense reports.
  • Understand tax policies and manage tax payments and returns.
  • Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger (e.g., by assets, liabilities, and expenses).
  • Reconcile bank statements.
  • Conduct month-end and year-end closures.
  • Prepare documents for audits.
  • Advise clients on financial issues via email or phone.
  • Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.

Requirements and Skills:
  • Similar experience as a Staff Accountant or relevant role in accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel, especially with spreadsheets.
