Accounting Manager Job at Century Group in Los Angeles

Our client, a growing e-commerce company in Glendale, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Manager to join their team on a temporary-to-hire basis. Hybrid role. Only local applicants will be considered. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $110,000 to $130,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

• Oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accounting staff
• Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to staff
• Manage month end close process
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Account and bank reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements
• Assist with budgeting and variance analysis
• Sales tax reporting and i nternal and external audits
• Play a key role in implementing and maintaining strong internal controls

Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (1+ year in a managerial role)
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Advanced MS Excel
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills
