Anesthesiology Physician

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist to provide Locum inpatient anesthesia services across a variety of specialties, including OB and general surgery for a facility in Western Illinois. This is a flexible, on-call role with approximately 15 shifts per month and a broad case mix in a hospital-only setting.

Shift Type: 24-hour on-call (pager-based)

Coverage: OB and general anesthesia

Shift Volume: 15 shifts/month (may be grouped or PRN)

Job Details & Responsibilities Setting: Inpatient hospital only (no telehealth, imaging, labs, or outpatient clinic)

EMR System: Cerner

Services Provided: Obstetrics

General Surgery

Limited Orthopedics

Limited Urology

Plastic Surgery

GI

Daily Volume: Approx. 60 cases/week (range: 6 20/day)

Duties: Provide comprehensive anesthesia services across the listed specialties

Participate in 24-hour OB and general surgery call coverage

Required Skills & Qualifications Board Certification: Required (new graduates may be considered)

Licensure: Active IL license or active IMLC with Letter of Qualification (LOQ required at submission)

Experience: Required across all listed case types

Additional Requirements: Clean malpractice history
