Our incredible client in Ashburn, VA is looking for an Electrical Hardware Tester
to join their team! Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, the Electrical Hardware Tester will join the team in Ashburn, VA.
We are looking for an Electrical Hardware Tester who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our electrical hardware products. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with low voltage equipment and have experience with Omicron testing equipment, although this is considered a plus.
Compensation: $20 - $30 DOE
Location: Ashburn, VA
Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Electrical Hardware Tester Responsibilities:
- Electrical Testing: Conduct rigorous testing of electrical hardware products, including power quality analyzers and monitoring devices.
- Perform functional tests to verify product compliance with specifications and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to electrical components and circuits.
- Ensure the safe handling of low voltage equipment during testing procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain meticulous records of test results and observations, documenting any deviations or anomalies.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to identify and address any product defects or non-conformities.
- Assist in the development and improvement of testing procedures and protocols.
- Equipment Knowledge: Utilize Omicron testing equipment and other specialized tools for accurate and comprehensive testing.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in testing equipment and techniques.
- Reporting and Documentation: Generate detailed test reports, including test methods, results, and recommendations.
- Contribute to the creation of comprehensive product documentation related to testing and quality control.
Electrical Hardware Tester Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification
- Familiarity with low voltage equipment and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Associate degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Tester, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Experience working with Omicron testing equipment is a significant advantage.
