The Role

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate who will perform shipping and receiving tasks to ensure customer satisfaction and inventory accuracy throughout the order fulfillment process. This role is on‑site and located in Minnetonka, MN. Only local candidates will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shipping and receiving for the Warehouse.
  • Process shipments.
  • Schedule LTL and ground carriers for the day’s shipments.
  • Operate forklift to move stock to/from assigned warehouse locations and loads/unloads trucks.
  • Unload and/or unpack incoming shipments, inspect, and verify product receipts against packing lists, reject damaged items and record shortages/damages according to the receiving process.
  • Read and interpret work order for order details and shipping requirements.
  • Identify products by description and number, pull stock from inventory, and prepare labels for shipment.
  • Break down bulk product into smaller quantities and repackage for shipment.
  • Prepare bills of lading, packing slips, and other shipping documents using carrier shipping technologies where available.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse, and practice safe work habits in accordance with safety plans and guidelines.
  • Monitor email and ERP system for current and future shipments.
  • Respond promptly to internal requests for service and assistance.
  • Balance team and individual responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, looking for ways to improve quality of work.
  • Support and adhere to all safety procedures and complete all required safety training.
  • Identify and support improvement opportunities for processes in order to support company objectives and customer expectations.

Physical Requirements

  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
  • Frequently move items weighing between 50‑70 lbs.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).

Experience And Qualifications

  • Min. 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse/ manufacturing required.
  • Prior forklift experience preferred.
  • Math and reading skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication and time‑management skills.
  • Experience using UPS WorldShip or FedEx Ship Manager.
  • Sharp analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook experience preferred.
  • MRP/ERP and inventory systems experience preferred.
