Warehouse Technician – LUFKIN INDUSTRIES (Odessa, TX)

The Warehouse Technician will review assembled orders to ensure accuracy, receive, store, and distribute materials, and inventory items as assigned. This role is key to maintaining efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Process, pack and ship orders accurately
• Maintain inventory of products; restock as needed
• Inspect products for damages; report as needed
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
• Process, receive and appropriately sort and store incoming products
• Prepare products for shipping
• Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures
• Conduct monthly annual inventory countsOther duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• 1 year warehouse experience or as deemed sufficient by management
• High School education or equivalent
• Knowledge of JDE, SAP or Warehouse or Inventory Management Software
• Experience with preparing and packing items for shipment, including shipping labels and packing slips
• Forklift experience required
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions; heat, cold, rain, wind humidity
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Able to stand, walk, push, pull, lift, bend, reach, sit for extended periods of time.
