The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is seeking Math Tutoring Specialists for on‑site tutoring assignments with students in grades 9‑12 at our Hingham, MA chapter. This position has regular demand, a flexible schedule, and an above‑average pay rate.

Base pay range: $40.00/yr – $45.00/yr (Hourly equivalent: $40/hr – $45/hr, commensurate).

Responsibilities

• Provide in‑person 1:1 tutoring to students in grades 9‑12.
• Conduct tutoring sessions that last 60‑90 minutes.
• Available 3–12 hours per week for assignments.

Requirements

• Based in the U.S.
• Teaching certification, provisional certification, or past experience tutoring or teaching high‑school math.
• Earned bachelor’s degree from a U.S. 4‑year institution.
• Demonstrated past experience tutoring or teaching high‑school mathematics.
• Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background and experience as a teacher or tutor.
