Accounting Operations Manager Job at Century Group in Los Angeles

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking an Accounting Operations Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $120,000 to $130,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Overseas and review the preparation of fixed asset detail, depreciation schedule, and account roll-forwards
• Review monthly operating expense trend reports and annual budgets
• Review account trend and detail information prepared by Senior Accounting Analysts and Accountants
• Recommend modifications to policies, procedures, and system applications
• Provide review comments to Senior Accounting Analysts for accurate variance explanations, balance sheet account reconciliations, and financial statement preparations

Requirements:

• Excellent computer skills: experience in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Possess strong quantitative, problem-solving, and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage employees, while multi-tasking large project

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and a minimum of (Number) years' relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Previous experience as an Accounting Manager with direct reports in fast-paced environment
