About the Role As an Inventory & Scheduling Analyst at Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in scheduling outside processors, reporting, and analyzing inventory across all relevant production locations. This position requires strong computational and analytical skills, the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment, and proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite. You will contribute directly to improving operational efficiencies and ensuring the accuracy of inventory management processes.
What You’ll Do
Analyze, create, schedule, and maintain transactions for outsourced material.
Review and understand finished goods stock requirements.
Coordinate all external processing of steel (Master Coil, WIP, and Finished Goods).
Maintain purchase orders to ensure accurate delivery dates and outstanding balances.
Create new part numbers, including material master data, BOMs, and related records.
Provide month‑end summary production reports and analysis using SAP and MES.
Assist in the yearly physical inventory of raw material and finished goods.
Identify slow‑moving and obsolete stock and work toward disposition.
Cover for other planning team members as needed.
Assist with other projects and analyses as required.
Who You Are
4‑year bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience.
Strong computational and analytical skills coupled with decision‑making ability.
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced environment; adaptability to change.
Proficiency in SAP (BW, APO), MES, and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Wind Shuttle and AI technologies is a plus.
Knowledge of pipe and tube manufacturing is beneficial but not required.
