Responsibilities
Verify medical invoices for payment.
Screen invoices to ensure payment process is in compliance with disbursement and procurement regulations by interpreting state and agency policies.
Determine need for corrective action, if any, to be taken on invoices to complete payments, obtain credits, resolve payment discrepancies.
By conferring with vendors, procurement officers, and requestors.
Process invoices into South Carolina enterprise information system for daily submission to comptroller general.
Analyze reports, system data, and documents to resolve vendor statement problems and undertake corrective action.
Resume preferred, but not required

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements A high school diploma.
SCDC Minimum Requirements (Or an acceptable equivalency as approved by the Division of State Human Resources).
A High School diploma and experience in entry-level accounting and bookkeeping.
