This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Huntington Beach, CA. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization while taking ownership of key accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a collaborative mindset. Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred, as this position will be involved in cost accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Perform full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, approvals, and vendor payments.
Prepare and post journal entries and adjustments for month-end close.
Review and analyze financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly budget and financial reports for management.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations for all accounts to ensure data integrity.
Complete daily bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow tracking.
Create ad hoc financial reports and analyses as needed.
Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting software (NetSuite preferred; Paapri experience a plus).
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
