We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Corporate Accountant to join our growing team in Houston, TX. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is comfortable managing complex financial data across multiple entities. As our organization continues to expand and adapt, we need someone who is flexible, proactive, and eager to take on new challenges. You will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Manage intercompany billing processes and ensure accurate and timely settlements. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Support month-end and year-end close processes in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure compliance with GAAP. Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Monitor and reconcile bank statements and other financial records. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple entities. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Adapt to changes in systems, processes, and organizational structure as the company grows. Ensure compliance with all internal controls and corporate accounting policies. Perform other accounting duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate or public accounting. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks). Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
