Key Responsibilities
Lead investment process from sourcing through closing including financial modeling, diligence coordination, IC presentations, and financing negotiations
Build complex financial models for power generation assets including dispatch analysis, merchant revenue scenarios, and take-private valuations
Support portfolio company management teams post-close on strategic finance, forecasting, and capital allocation
Develop new investment theses through market research and proprietary analytical frameworks
Ideal Candidate Profile
3-6 years in energy-focused private equity, infrastructure investing, or investment banking (Power & Utilities coverage)
Advanced financial modeling and power markets expertise (capacity markets, spark spreads, ISOs/RTOs, merchant vs. contracted economics)
Deal execution experience with closed transactions ($100M+ enterprise value) across power generation or energy infrastructure
Strong communication skills with ability to lead external stakeholder discussions
