$55.36/hr - $55.36/hr Work Schedule & Compensation
Regular Work Schedule: 6:00am-6:00pm 4 days on/4 days off rotating schedule Training Schedule: 6:00am-2:00pm Monday-Friday for at least 3 weeks Starting Pay: $55.36/hour (increases to $56.86/hour effective 12/1/25) Signing Bonus: $15,000 (paid in two installments: 30 days from hire & 6 months from hire) Additional Perks: weekly paychecks, bonus potential, generous healthcare benefits, matching 401k, PTO, paid breaks, tuition reimbursement, and gym reimbursement. Job Responsibilities
Update and maintain equipment documentation within the CMMS Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems arising in buildings, motors, and machine hook-ups, giving priority to production operations that are down Check sketches, blueprints, layout diagrams, or work orders, and prepare lists of materials needed for project work, ensuring compliance with electrical codes Maintain and update equipment records, schematics, blueprints, and files in an orderly fashion Complete all work in accordance with OSHA and NEC standards and regulations Work closely with Production Managers Work to determine the correct method and sequence of operation, and the selection of materials to be used Replace, repair, or adjust defective or worn electrical system components Repair control systems or other equipment as necessary Promote cleanliness, good order, and neat conditions in the maintenance shop, in the storage of parts and supplies, work area, and around plant premises in general Instruct plant personnel on the repair and calibration of process instrumentation Coordinate and communicate equipment and operation problems with production and engineering Active commitment to all Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) regulations Other duties as assigned by management Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED from accredited school Currently valid MN Class A Electrical Journeyworker License OR MN Class A Master Electrician license Previous work experience with high voltage as well as single phase, three phase, and DC motors Previous work experience with industrial maintenance and industrial manufacturing plant environments Additional Requirements
Ability to pass pre-employment tests including background check, drug screen, and physical Ability and willingness to wear full-mask respirator directly against skin (eg clean shaven if applicable) with or without reasonable accommodation Ability and willingness to wear full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas (respirator, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, boots, and hearing protection) with or without reasonable accommodation Ability and willingness to work in a hot production area in full PPE with or without reasonable accommodation Ability and willingness to move about the plant, including stairs and ladders with or without reasonable accommodation Ability and willingness to lift and/or carry up to 80 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation Gopher Resource is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
