As Dean of Nursing & Nurse Administrator, you ll play a pivotal role in guiding faculty, supporting students, and ensuring program excellence all while advancing nursing education in your community.
What You ll Do
Serve as the academic and administrative leader for the nursing program, overseeing faculty management, student success, and program compliance.
Recruit, mentor, and develop faculty and Associate Deans, fostering a collaborative and high-performance academic team.
Ensure curriculum quality and alignment with accreditation and Board of Nursing standards.
Establish and maintain clinical partnerships to provide students with exceptional real-world training opportunities.
Monitor and improve key academic metrics such as NCLEX pass rates, program completion, and graduation rates.
Act as a visible ambassador for the program, representing the nursing school at community events, pinning ceremonies, graduations, and professional gatherings.
Create an inclusive, student-centered environment that promotes engagement, learning, and retention.
What We re Looking For
Master s degree in Nursing (MSN) required; Doctoral degree preferred.
Active, unencumbered RN license in Illinois.
