ERM (Emergency Medicine) is partnering with a hospital 30 minutes from Tampa, Florida, that has an opportunity for an Emergency Medicine physician to provide locum coverage. About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Day or night shifts No call Annual Census: 22k patients 30% daily admissions 12 ED beds + 4 fast track beds Board certification required Paid travel & expenses During your time off, play golf on meticulously maintained courses, attend concerts, plays, and film screenings at a community theater, and take day trips to nearby beaches, state parks, and historic coastal towns. $250 per hour Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Active unencumbered Physician Florida state license Graduate from a fully accredited Physician program One year of work experience as Physician One year of EMR experience Board Certified SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
