Office of Criminal Conflict & Civil Regional Counsel - Assistant Regional Counsel
Summary:
The Office of Criminal Conflict & Civil Regional Counsel, First DCA Region is seeking a full-time attorney in our Jacksonville, FL office who will be responsible for a criminal case load in Duval County.
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in various types of court hearings, including jury trials, non‑jury trials, and motion practice. Conduct client interviews, witness interviews, prepare witnesses for trial, research and write legal documents and filings, and provide ongoing assessment of case merits.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Criminal Defense and must be a member in good standing with The Florida Bar.
Benefits:
Full‑time State of Florida position with attendant state benefits. Salary range commensurate with the successful applicant's experience.
