Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician – Walmart Local Retail Store

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance

Large‑Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience

Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling

Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and able to pass an MVR report

18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and hand, digital, and power tools.

Use the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support store associates, and document repair activities.

Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.

Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.

Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.

Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by performing work according to Walmart Refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.

Lift up to 75 pounds, use ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently.

Compensation

Salary range: $56,160 – $106,080

Currently offering a $2,000 sign‑on bonus (for select locations)

Eligible for bonus incentive
