Chicago ? We’re looking for a detail-oriented legal professional to support attorneys in all stages of basic and advanced estate planning and probate processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and has a strong understanding of court procedures and legal protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Draft estate planning and probate documents
Manage and organize estate and probate files
Form business entities and assist with filings
Conduct legal research related to estate planning and probate
Coordinate with clients, court personnel, and legal professionals
Prepare and file legal documents with appropriate courts
Maintain databases and tracking systems
Ensure deadlines are met and follow up on client paperwork
Skills & Qualifications
2+ years experience working with estates and trusts
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of professionalism and discretion
Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced setting
Willingness to work flexible hours, including more than 46 hours/week during peak periods
Salary Range:
$65,000 – $85,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
