Senior Executive Assistant to UHC Chief Legal Officer - Hybrid, Minnetonka, MN At UnitedHealthcare, we are simplifying the health care experience, creating healthier communities and removing barriers to quality care. This Senior Executive Assistant position provides full-spectrum administrative support to the Chief Legal Officer. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional professionalism, sound judgment, and executive presence while managing a wide range of confidential and time‑sensitive matters. This position requires a proactive, emotionally mature professional who can anticipate needs, balance competing priorities, and operate seamlessly in a fast‑paced environment.

The role is based in Minnetonka, Minnesota, working in a hybrid model of four days per week in the office.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the Chief Legal Officer and other executives in a manner consistent with the highest level of performance and professionalism, building effective relationships with other administrative assistants, and acting as a team player.

Maintain and update calendars; manage incoming scheduling requests, prioritize and communicate with all parties.

Coordinate travel arrangements (domestic and international); provide flight/hotel information, itineraries, and other required details.

Submit travel expense reports timely and accurately.

Organize meetings, including scheduling and coordinating with remote participants, setting up resources and technology requirements (e.g., conference rooms, catering, Microsoft Teams).

Create and prepare meeting materials (e.g., PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, and meeting agendas) and ensure distribution to attendees in a timely manner.

Review documents to ensure accuracy and quality and revise as needed.

Manage office documents in accordance with enterprise records management procedures.

Perform Business Segment Liaison (BSL) duties—assist with onboarding/offboarding employees, request hardware, software applications, and supplies within department standards and company procedures.

Keep inventory of department office supplies and place orders for replenishment as needed.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of administrative support experience.

3+ years of executive assistant experience supporting C‑suite leaders within a global, complex, fast‑paced Fortune 500 organization.

Experience managing multiple tasks or projects and deadlines simultaneously with attention to detail.

Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

Executive presence, professional demeanor, and strong communication skills.

Experience leveraging AI capabilities such as ChatGPT and Copilot to improve team efficiency.

Reside within commuting distance to the Minnetonka, MN office.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in legal or healthcare industries.

Experience supporting multiple executives within a fast‑paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to think proactively, balance multiple demands, and manage complex competing priorities.

Self‑directed, works independently and collaboratively.

Compensation and Benefits Pay is based on multiple factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. The hourly pay for this role ranges from $28.27 to $50.48 per hour, with a full‑time salary range of $50,400 – $69,400 per year. Benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, 401(k) contribution, and other eligible benefits.
