On-site in Lynchburg, Virginia Your Day To Day As An SGHX Engineer
Provides technical support of manufacturing components and manufacturing processes. Interprets and applies technical specifications. Prepares technical documents (reports, drawings, work instructions, procedures, etc.) Supports and analyzes manufacturing problems with frequent application and use of mechanical engineering, physics, and material science subject matter. Interfaces with a large team of technical staff, manufacturing and inspection staff, customers, and sub-vendors. Process monitors, trends, and completes monthly/annual reporting. Defines and implements process improvements. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor degree in engineering from an ABET accredited school. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Must possess proven technical/critical thinking skills. Must be able to demonstrate superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be highly self-motivated and organized, with keen attention to detail when making decisions. Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is required. Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance. What We Offer
