Turner & Townsend Heery is seeking a Project Manager / Pre‑Construction Manager for anticipated openings in Los Angeles. The PMII will play a pivotal role in the development and planning phases of a major seismic retrofit project for a high‑rise building. This position involves coordinating site due diligence, CMAR procurement, and construction readiness, ensuring the construction phase is set up for success. Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and management of pre‑construction documents and permitting activities. Collaborate with A/E and CMAR teams for constructability reviews, cost modeling, and environmental documentation. Lead planning efforts for move management, overseeing site logistics, utilities, and FF&E planning. Monitor testing activities and ensure QA/QC compliance during pre‑construction. Qualifications

3+ years of Public Sector Experience Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management. Minimum 10 years’ experience in owner’s representative project / construction management. Experience with $100M+ projects including steel high‑rises and occupied renovations. Knowledge of hazardous material abatement, CMAR, DB, and JOC delivery. Preferred

California PE, Architect license, or CCM certification. DBIA Certified. Additional Information

The salary range for this full‑time role is $140k‑$180k per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications. Qualified candidates with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with LA County ordinance and CA law.
