Position Summary The
Physical Therapist Assistant
specializing in
Acute Care
works under the supervision of the Team Coordinator and/or Clinical Specialist, and the leadership of the Rehab Therapy Services Team Leader, Supervisor, and/or Inpatient or Outpatient Manager. Responsibilities include implementing treatment programs established by a licensed PT to help patients regain their maximum function, collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize outcomes, and contributing to service and system improvements that benefit patient care. The role also involves operationalizing organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements
Completion of an Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Licensure from the State of Maryland, Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
Current AHA Healthcare Provider Certification
Successful completion of clinical internships as required by the academic program
Additional Information Salary Range: $26.19 to $43.24 per hour, commensurate with experience and role scope.
