Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Rock Springs WY
MRG Exams is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform disability assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. The position is an in-person role located in Rock Springs, WY, and requires an unrestricted NP or PA license. The schedule is one day per week, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., full-time.
Responsibilities
Review medical records electronically through the VA web portal.
Conduct focused in-person physical exams on 3–5 Veterans per day.
Document exam findings in the VA web portal.
Perform Disability Assessments only; do not make disability determinations (the VA makes all determinations).
Do not treat Veterans or prescribe medication in this position.
Key Attributes
Interest in performing independent medical assessments.
Ability to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and medical opinions.
Strong time‑management skills, staying on task and meeting requirements.
Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
Proficiency using a computer.
Requirements
Must hold a current, unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license.
Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
