Project Engineer, Land Development

Key Responsibilities
Review municipal zoning, land development ordinances, and regulatory agency requirements to determine development limitations.
Conduct site investigations and due diligence, including research of ordinances, utilities, and outside agency regulations.
Lead stormwater management and conveyance system design using AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrology design software.
Perform pipe sizing calculations and create drainage area maps.
Develop grading designs that optimize earthwork, ensure site safety, and achieve cost‑effective solutions.
Design subdivision and site plans, as well as utility systems (stormwater, sanitary sewer, pump stations, water, gas, and telecommunications).
Identify and resolve vertical and horizontal utility conflicts.
Prepare soil erosion and sediment control designs.
Generate construction cost estimates for bonding and client requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
7+ years of residential and/or commercial civil land development experience.
EIT certification required; PE license preferred.
Strong knowledge of Georgia municipal, county, and state land use, planning, and zoning processes.
Expertise in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrology, grading, and site development.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D from concept through completion.
All applicants must be able to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
