to oversee executive and senior leadership recruitment across its portfolio, ensuring each business is equipped with the right leaders to drive strategic growth and value creation.
Position Overview The
Director of Talent Acquisition
will design and lead recruitment strategies for executive and senior-level roles within portfolio companies. This individual will work directly with portfolio company CEOs, CFOs, and boards to identify and attract high-caliber leadership talent aligned with each company’s strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will bring experience from private equity, investment banking, or Big 4 accounting environments, coupled with a proven record of success recruiting senior executives for fast‑paced, growth‑oriented companies. Candidates must be
based in the DFW metro area
and comfortable with
travel up to 50%
to portfolio company sites and key markets nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy for portfolio company executive and leadership roles.
Lead full‑cycle executive searches, including sourcing, evaluation, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
Partner with portfolio company leadership and boards to define talent needs and hiring strategies.
Build and maintain a robust network of executive candidates, advisors, and external search partners.
Elevate employer branding efforts across portfolio companies to attract high‑performing executives.
Utilize data‑driven insights and recruiting technology to enhance search effectiveness and candidate experience.
Advise portfolio leaders on executive hiring best practices and succession planning.
Provide ongoing reporting and analysis of executive hiring metrics and outcomes.
Travel up to 50% to portfolio company sites, leadership meetings, and key industry events.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field; advanced degree or professional certifications preferred.
Extensive experience in executive recruiting within private equity, investment banking, or Big 4 settings.
Proven ability to design, manage, and execute executive search processes.
Deep understanding of executive talent dynamics within private equity–backed environments.
Strong communication, relationship management, and influencing skills.
Strategic thinker with hands‑on execution capability.
Comfortable operating in high‑growth, entrepreneurial, and fast‑moving settings.
Must be
based in the DFW metro area
and willing to
travel up to 50% .
