Senior Bodily Injury Specialist
Join our team at Plymouth Rock Assurance to make a direct impact handling high‑severity first and third‑party bodily injury claims in both personal lines and commercial settings.
Responsibilities
Investigate coverage, liability, and injury matters to secure statements and efficiently resolve claims.
Navigate complex insurance policies, advising on excess and primary coverage.
Direct field investigations and coordinate with vendors (field, counsel, surveillance) to ensure effective claim resolutions.
Maintain financial oversight with accurate reserve analysis based on claim developments.
Collaborate with defense counsel on litigation strategies and fraud prevention through SIU.
Resolve claims through merit‑based negotiations with injured parties and attorneys.
Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities to minimize losses.
Represent Plymouth Rock in arbitrations, depositions, mediations, and trials.
Stay current on industry trends, participate in training, and contribute to team initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
3–5 years handling bodily injury claims, preferably complex liability (commercial, UM/UIM, excess/umbrella).
Deep knowledge of litigation, arbitration, trial procedures, and multi‑state claims (preferred experience in MA and NH).
Strong analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and interpersonal communication.
Thorough understanding of state laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
