Job Summary The C-Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, managing a team of employees, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets. The Store Manager plays a key role in maintaining the store's efficiency, profitability, and reputation in the market.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Manage and supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, sales transactions, and customer service.
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise store staff to ensure high levels of performance and customer service.
Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, increase profitability, and meet store targets.
Monitor and control expenses, such as labor costs, inventory shrinkage, and operational costs, to maximize store profitability.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, as well as local, state, and federal laws.
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment for customers and employees.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
Conduct regular performance discussions, provide feedback, and implement training programs to develop team members.
Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to optimize product selection, pricing, and promotional activities.
Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation in store operations.
Job Environment Flexibility with work schedule, able to handle physical demands and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment are essential to this role.
Average work hours: 45-50 hours per week.
Occasional lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 25 pounds such as stock merchandise, boxes, or equipment.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach and stand for extended periods of time throughout the shift.
Occasional travel for bank deposits, training meetings, or to other store locations.

Requirements Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in retail management, preferably in the convenience store industry.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
