The Opportunity This senior manager position is responsible for leading a team to support Abbott’s US TAVI field and customer training programs along with collaborating on global TAVI training curriculum to consistently optimize procedural outcomes and efficiencies. This role will work closely with EMEA counterparts to build a single SOP/DOP for mandatory training curriculum and content. It will also coordinate with Clinical Engineering and Medical Affairs for TAVI clinical trial training alignment. The position is US based and requires significant time in the United States. Strong leadership, teamwork, and program management skills are essential. Prior training program management experience is desired. What You’ll Work On Teamwork and collaboration with cross‑functional global teams. Alignment with US sales leadership for training program needs. Leadership of a US‑based TAVI national training team to ensure optimal outcomes. Career planning and development for direct reports. Represent US training needs across functional teams. Alignment of global stakeholders (training, R&D, clinical science, medical affairs, clinical operations, KOL investigators) on training processes and content. Present training program strategic updates. Develop global training curriculum for commercial and investigational devices. Accountability for procedural training SOP/DOP development, content/models/simulators, event‑based training, local training. Budget forecasting and management. Analytics and monitoring of product performance outcomes for additional training or product design input for trial sites. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of related work experience with a good understanding of the specified functional area or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Preferred Qualifications Ten years of relevant work experience with strong project management. Direct experience working with physician customers. A clinical background and/or strong clinical knowledge and aptitude. Strong communication skills and ability to work with several levels within the organization and in cross‑functional teams. Solid understanding and application of business concepts, procedures, and practices. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
