Job Description We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee a team of Process Safety Professionals responsible for maintaining engineering documentation at a facility located near Wichita, KS. The Project Manager will coordinate activities that ensure accurate and timely updates to engineering and process safety information, while driving compliance with OSHA PSM and EPA RMP requirements. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional projects in a professional environment. The Project Manager will report to either a site manager or project manager who will establish clear expectations in terms of work quality, efficiency, and technical development. To fulfill this role, the Project Manager will: Serve as the primary project manager for engineering documentation related initiatives, ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule and within scope. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and process safety teams to resolve data or documentation gaps. Report project status, risks, and progress to refinery leadership. Prepare Project Execution Plans Reference PSM knowledge Interpret data from piping & instrument diagrams, process flow diagrams, plot plans, piping isometrics, mechanical design information Understand and comply with all Provenance and client safety procedures that govern the work being performed Manage communication between various stakeholders and vendor/contractors Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: BS Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (Provenance Consulting may consider other engineering) Five or more years of relevant industry experience required, with refinery experience preferred Two or more years of experience in project management preferred Knowledge in application and compliance requirements of regulatory codes (OSHA, EPA, etc.) and industry standards and recommended practices (API, NFPA, ASME, etc.), preferred Strong technical communication ability, both written and oral The unrestricted right to work in the United States Seniority level
