About the Podcast A platform dedicated to deep conversations with ambitious founders, investors, and researchers in biotech and life sciences. We spotlight work in synthetic biology, gene editing, longevity, and biotech entrepreneurship, translating complex science and startup journeys into clear, engaging stories.
Position Overview Seeking a talented, committed videographer intern to produce high‑quality video for a biotech interview podcast. You’ll work closely with hosts, editors, and social to bring compelling conversations to life.
Core Responsibilities
Filming & Content Capture – Available for two 3‑hour recording sessions per week for 3–6 months.
Technical Equipment Management – Set up, manage, and operate video and audio equipment for studio‑quality capture.
Post‑Production Collaboration – Coordinate with the audio engineer to align video and sound.
RAW File Management – After each session promptly upload RAW files to a shared drive for editing.
Long‑Form Video Editing – Edit full‑length podcast episodes to a professional standard.
Trailer & Clip Editing – Use Descript to create highlight clips for marketing and social.
Requirements
Videography & Editing Experience – Portfolio demonstrating prior work.
Tools – Proficiency with Descript and Adobe Premiere Pro.
Commitment – Consistent availability for two weekly 3‑hour sessions over 3–6 months.
Organization – Strong file management and deadline discipline.
Teamwork – Effective collaboration with producers, editors, and hosts.
Preferred Skills
Basic Audio Editing – Helpful but not required.
Visual Storytelling – Ability to elevate episodes with strong narrative and edits.
