Pay Range Base pay: $21.00/hr – $24.00/hr. Actual pay based on skills and experience.
Responsibilities
Immediately greet guests and offer assistance.
Register and assign guests to hotel rooms.
Establish payment methods and verify credit.
Make and confirm reservations.
Compute bills, collect payments, make change.
Transmit and receive messages via telephone or PMS system.
Respond to guest requests in a timely manner.
Resolve guest complaints, escalating to supervisor if needed.
Secure guests' valuables in safe or deposit boxes.
Perform bookkeeping activities such as balancing accounts and conducting audits.
Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to increase them.
Practice safe work habits, wear protective equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
Assist in the breakfast area or with luggage during peak periods.
Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
Background & Skills
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required.
Knowledge of PMS systems preferred.
