Business Development Executive (BDE)
to join our dynamic team and help us expand our market presence. Position Summary
As a
Business Development Executive
, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers who require freight management services. You will play a critical role in building our sales pipeline and driving revenue growth. Key Responsibilities
Prospect & Outreach:
Research and identify potential shippers and clients through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and CRM tools. Lead Qualification:
Engage leads in conversation to understand their logistics needs, challenges, and fit for our services. Appointment Setting:
Schedule meetings and demos for Vice President of Sales members with qualified prospects. CRM Management:
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and prospect interactions in the CRM system. Market Research:
Monitor industry trends and identify potential opportunities for growth in new verticals or regions. Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align strategies and ensure a smooth handoff of leads. Performance Metrics:
Meet or exceed weekly/monthly KPIs for outreach, qualified leads, and scheduled meetings. Qualifications
1–4 years of experience in sales, specifically in a logistics/brokerage environment Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills Comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and handling objections Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) Understanding of freight brokerage, 3PL, or transportation industry What We Offer
