Our Organization and Mission The Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) is the agency charged with licensing and regulating State of Florida businesses and professionals, such as cosmetologists, veterinarians, condominiums, hotels, and restaurants. Our mission is to license efficiently and regulate fairly, and we strive to meet this goal in our day‑to‑day operations.

Work You Will Do This position is located within the Bureau of Compliance of the Division of Condominiums, Timeshares and Mobile Homes. It performs quality assurance reviews for the bureau to ensure proper procedures are being followed.

Your Specific Responsibilities

Collect and analyze various data sources, including but not limited to Versa, OnBase, and any other applicable program(s) to identify opportunities for improvement, monitor performance, and interpret data trends and patterns as they relate to the Division.

Administer the Division’s Qlik reports, working with the Director, direct supervisor, Division of Technology, and Chief of Research and Data Integrity to ensure reporting accuracy and the creation of new reports as required.

Perform random reviews of Versa Regulation and OnBase to ensure filings and cases are correctly coded and to identify inconsistencies.

Administer the Annual Report query on a minimum monthly basis, and any other recurring report as assigned by the Director or direct supervisor in a timely and accurate manner. It is also the responsibility of this position to monitor data quality and collaborate with the appropriate party to ensure resolution.

Respond to data requests assigned by the Director or direct supervisor, completing requests by the due dates unless extenuating circumstances dictate otherwise. Requests should address the purpose and be formatted as requested or in a manner conducive to providing the purpose.

Provide consistent, timely, and precise updates and responses in written or telephonic communication with the supervisor, Director, or other appropriate individuals.

Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data analytics; participate in training programs and professional development opportunities.

Provide suggestions for improving applications, processes, or procedures as deemed necessary.

Perform other related work duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

Ability to use technology to perform duties including computer software, hardware and data systems.

Operational knowledge of data analysis, data visualization, and data processing techniques; ability to manage, prepare, maintain, analyze and report from information sets.

Experience using Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Excel.

Ability to understand complex business and organizational relationships.

Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Strong attention to detail and critical thinking.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Excellent customer service etiquette.

Two years of data analytics or related IT experience.

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; OR

Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university and two years of investigative or high‑level administrative/clerical experience;

High School Diploma;
