We are seeking a Virtualization/Network Engineer to support operations in Charleston, SC. This full‑time, CONUS/OCONUS position requires an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.
What You’ll Do
Installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti‑virus, and intrusion detection services.
Windows Server OS: install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and/or Server.
Basic Networking: IP addresses, DNS, and how network issues affect virtual desktops.
Troubleshooting: use log files, event history, and version control to trace issues.
Equipment installation with superb cable management.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
Technical Expertise: 3+ years of systems administration supporting daily operational requirements of computer network systems, including workstations, file servers, and web servers.
Certifications: Current DoD cybersecurity workforce certification/training (e.g., CompTIA A+ CE, Network+ CE, Security+ CE, CISSP, GSEC) and an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
Proficiency with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies.
Travel & Passport
Available to travel up to 60 days per year and several week‑long trips.
Must have an active passport for OCONUS travel and/or living requirements.
Work Environment
Compliance with vaccination and medical requirements for TDY/OCONUS roles as per Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil.
Primarily an office‑based role in Charleston, SC.
Standard desk/computer work with flexibility for walking and movement on site.
May need to travel short distances to offices, conference rooms, and buildings on site.
Background & Security
