What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead applied and collaborative research programs utilizing bioinformatics, high-performance computing, and deep learning
Develop bioinformatics software and algorithms for biological data analysis and machine learning applications
Partner with TechBio startups and academic collaborators to enhance NVIDIA's accelerated solutions
Collaborate with biologists and machine learning scientists to address complex biological challenges
Contribute to scientific strategy through publications, conference participation, and thought leadership
What is Required (Qualifications)
5+ years of experience in computer science, physics, mathematics, data science, chemistry, biology, or a related field
PhD or equivalent experience
Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
Proven ability to independently initiate and implement impactful research programs
Expertise in digital biology areas, such as structural biology or molecular dynamics
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with NVIDIA's GPU and AI technologies, including CUDA and TensorRT
Familiarity with developing accelerated libraries that integrate various biological data formats and algorithms
Experience in deploying research projects as open-source software and contributing to scientific communities
