Pay Range Base pay range: $190,000.00 per year – $260,000.00 per year.

Company Overview DCI Donor Services is a designated organ procurement organization (OPO) within the state of California – member of the DCI Donor Services family. For over four decades, DCI Donor Services has led efforts to end the transplant waiting list. We operate three organ procurement/tissue recovery organizations: New Mexico Donor Services, Sierra Donor Services, and Tennessee Donor Services. We also maximize the gift of life through the DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank and Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank. Our performance is measured by how we serve donor families and recipients. Job Description We are seeking a Chief Operations Officer to oversee all clinical operations – including donor authorization, donor management, organ recovery, logistics, and organ utilization. This role is critical to providing leadership and guidance to all clinical teams. Extensive on‑call duties and travel will be required.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve strategic objectives through monitoring and analysing data to maximise organ donation and identify trends and areas for improvement.

Oversee clinical operations in accordance with company policies, CMS regulations, and UNOS/OSHA guidelines.

Work with operational leaders to forecast staffing needs and oversee recruitment and training of the clinical department.

Partner with HR leadership to complete annual performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.

Oversee departmental budgetary and financial responsibilities, analyse variances and reduce costs.

Collaborate with the Medical Director to review and enhance clinical evaluation, donor management, organ allocation, and organ recovery practices.

Analyse data to forecast current and future departmental needs and interpret data relating to clinical activity.

Coordinate periodic onsite meetings with transplant centers and hospital partners.

Facilitate communication between departments and encourage clinical staff participation in initiatives.

Facilitate interaction with senior management, Medical Advisory Committee, and Medical Directors to provide input regarding organizational goals.

Participate in internal and external committees representing the clinical services department and the organization.

Additional duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate

5+ years of OPO clinical management experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration.

Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Valid driver’s license with ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements.

First dose of COVID‑19 vaccine by the start date and proof of vaccination.
