Overview Direct a diverse team of highly‑skilled professionals across Correspondent, Broker Direct, and Consumer Direct channels, translating the division's strategic vision into actionable goals for transaction management, lock desk systems, and processes.
Assume full ownership of departmental performance, driving the achievement of critical business production and quality metrics through data‑driven analysis and continuous process optimization. Spearhead the development and implementation of key system enhancements, focusing on scalable and flexible solutions that ensure operational integrity and compliance with company policy. Foster a culture of excellence by overseeing the team's hiring, training, and professional development, building a pipeline of skilled and motivated experts.
Responsibilities
Execute the strategic vision for the Production Pricing Transaction Management department, translating divisional goals into actionable objectives and measurable KPIs.
Direct and continuously evolve the Transaction Management teams in a highly dynamic environment, providing leadership, direction, and management‑level development.
Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with senior leadership and key stakeholders across Sales, Mortgage Fulfillment, Technology, Compliance, and Capital Markets, acting as the primary point of contact for transaction management strategy and performance.
Serve as a Production Pricing line‑of‑business expert for all business channels with regard to all pricing transactions, including policy, process, and systems.
Lead change management initiatives within the team, effectively communicating shifts in strategy, process, or technology to ensure smooth transitions and sustained team morale and productivity.
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks within transaction processes, ensuring strict adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Identify and develop high‑potential employees and create robust succession plans for key roles to ensure business continuity and promote internal talent mobility.
Architect and manage a comprehensive reporting framework to provide executive‑level oversight of transactions, delivering actionable insights on performance trends, operational risks, and process integrity.
Qualifications
Expert‑level knowledge of the mortgage production lifecycle, including lock desk operations, trade management, pricing mechanics, systems, and integrations.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams, especially through dynamic market cycles.
Proficiency in using data to drive performance, with experience in SQL, Snowflake, and advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, query connections, macro building).
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, engaging executive leadership and key stakeholders across the organization.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and leading staff in a dynamic environment.
Business acumen and the ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast‑paced environment.
A collaborative leadership style with a track record of challenging conventional practices and implementing innovative solutions.
Extensive experience in residential mortgage and financial services.
