This position is open due to the continued growth of this organization. In this position, you will establish credibility while partnering with executives, stakeholders, and 3rd party advisors — earning trust while driving results and moving projects forward. You’ll be given the autonomy to run with initiatives and the support to execute.
Responsibilities
Partner directly with the VP of corporate tax on scenario planning, research, and modeling tied to ongoing projects and new ventures. Research, understand, and apply new guidance in the ever-changing tax landscape.
Play a key role in the due diligence phase of investment opportunities or acquisitions. Work closely with leadership on tax scenario planning and modeling related to deal structures and risk management.
Leverage internal and external (CPA/law firm) resources to interpret complex and sometimes ambiguous tax law for business operations, real estate investments, strategic initiatives, or acquisitions.
Collaborate with attorneys and leadership when drafting operating agreements, with a focus on allocations and cash distributions and general deal structure. This will be a fun aspect of this position as you will have a front row seat while contributing to the creation of new business ventures and business agreements that will shape the future of this business.
Qualifications This role is ideal for an individual who combines technical tax expertise with strong communication, relationship management, project leadership, and practical business sense.
Compensation & Benefits Base salary, bonus, and equity, along with a generous benefits package.
Location Omaha, NE — Salary: $150,000 - $170,000.
