Base Pay Range $250,000.00/yr – $270,000.00/yr
About the Role The Manager of Legal Innovation will manage a team of Innovation Attorneys who provide expert advisory to various practice groups. Responsibilities include:
Formulating local and global policies and procedures, developing short- and long-term goals, and ensuring compliance with legal standards.
Cultivating a robust pipeline of technology needs and delivering reliable solutions.
Using a data‑driven approach to ensure innovation advisory efforts have a positive impact at scale.
Ensuring the team adopts an AI‑First approach and drives process refinement and automation.
Promoting a collaborative, transparent culture within the team and across the Technology & Information Services Department.
Conducting research on emerging technologies that could impact legal service delivery.
Engaging practice group leadership to understand technology needs.
Protecting highly sensitive and proprietary information.
Qualifications
A juris doctor (JD) or equivalent.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or related field, preferably.
At least 7 years of relevant experience, including 4 years as a practicing attorney and 3 years managing a team of innovation professionals.
Admission to at least one U.S. State Bar.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and stakeholder‑management skills.
