Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Brand Partnerships department, including sales and activation verticals, ensuring alignment on revenue goals, execution standards, and client satisfaction.
Oversee a growing portfolio of brand partnerships across festivals, venues, and custom activations, with an emphasis on delivering high‑value, measurable programs.
Spearhead sponsorship sales pipeline and drive team accountability in prospecting, pitching, closing, and renewing deals.
Develop and enforce standardized processes, timelines, and documentation to improve internal efficiencies and cross‑department collaboration.
Drive the implementation of a CRM and reporting systems to monitor client outreach, track sales performance, and provide clear visibility into revenue health and growth goals.
Own departmental budget, forecasting, and contract oversight.
Lead team to deliver revenue goals by identifying new business opportunities and unlocking larger‑scale partnerships across national and regional brand categories.
Align with the executive team to inform pricing models, revenue forecasting, and market strategy.
Develop new sales tools, templates, and case studies to support outbound efforts and improve close rates.
Recruit, mentor, and retain top‑tier talent across the sales and activation teams.
Champion a collaborative culture that drives innovation, accountability, and excellence.
Ensure team alignment with key stakeholders across talent, marketing, production, and operations to ensure flawless execution of sponsorship deliverables.
Key Qualifications
15+ years of brand partnerships experience with a strong emphasis on sponsorship sales, preferably within live events, festivals, venues, sports, or entertainment.
Proven success in building and managing high‑performing sales teams and multi‑million dollar sponsorship portfolios.
Deep understanding of sales process implementation, funnel management, CRM tools, and KPI tracking.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities with a sharp eye for detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment and lead with both strategy and execution.
This position is based in Los Angeles, CA, Nashville, TN or Louisville, KY. Hybrid working schedule.
