Active Connecticut State Guard Card (Preferred)
Reliable transportation
High School Diploma or GED
2 years of Security Experience REQUIRED- Military / Law Enforcement experience may substitute
Calm, polite, and professional demeanor.
Reliable and self-motivated.
High level customer service
Responsibilities University Security Officers are expected to be able to stand for prolonged periods, be comfortable with incident report writing, respond to calls via radio communication and interact with patrons. Officers are asked to have flexible availability to assist with extra coverage as needed.
