The Assistant Vice President, Portfolio Management & Pricing will participate in all aspects of the portfolio construction process for prospective business. This includes close coordination with our KKR Portfolio Managers, Individual Markets, and Institutional (Reinsurance) Markets business representatives. The role will involve creating portfolios that consider asset‑liability management, relative value, liquidity requirements, and investment guidelines. Working as a key member of the Global Atlantic Investment Office, the AVP, Portfolio Management & Pricing, will be a critical participant in the prudent growth and management of our company’s $175 billion general account.
Responsibilities
Investment portfolio construction for new business as part of the growth strategies in Individual and Institutional Markets
Monitor relative value opportunities across the fixed income investment universe; analyze and propose tactical shifts to sourcing plan
Cooperate with the risk team to monitor ongoing ALM
Define and document policies & procedures to ensure proper governance
Track exposures against regulatory and trust investment limits and work closely with Institutional Team and members of the Asset Allocation on investment guideline negotiation
Liaise with hedging team to execute and track performance of derivative overlays in the general account
Work closely with actuarial teams to ensure investment strategy is properly represented in capital testing
Remains abreast of industry trends, regulatory matters, and market events impacting investment strategies, managers, and the industry
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related technical field
6+ years of experience in cross sector fixed income strategy or portfolio management / ALM
Familiarity with portfolio construction techniques and risk management
Energetic, inquisitive and a high initiative to take on projects that cover new ground for the team and the company
Strong leadership and team orientation; organized and high attention to detail
Ability to learn quickly in a fast‑paced environment

The base salary range for this role is $107,500—$204,500 USD
