Mammographer In Training | Greenwood Village, CO

Employment Type:
Part time. Regular part‑time hours are guaranteed, with potential for full‑time hours pending training availability.
We are excited to offer Mammography cross‑training opportunities for interested ARRT Radiologic Technologists. Any currently registered ARRT (R) technologist, or upcoming registry‑eligible graduate, who is interested in learning mammography may apply. This employment opportunity focuses on supporting clinical hours in mammography and learning mammography procedures and protocols with our team of high‑quality breast‑care professionals.
Primary Responsibilities
Learn, observe, and assist with mammography exams, providing high‑quality images.
Assist with technical/clerical functions in related areas of mammography imaging, including quality assurance and control.
Help provide clear and detailed information regarding exams and care to patients.
Assist with appropriate documentation and obtain interpretation for each exam.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patient and staff.
Manage patient priority and act as a first responder when needed.
Assist in general X‑Ray as needed.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Must currently hold ARRT (R) certification or be able to obtain it before the start date.
Must complete mammography didactic courses separately.
Must be willing and able to obtain ARRT (M) registry within 6 months of completion of cross‑training.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
12‑month full‑time employment commitment post cross‑training.
Reliable and professional technologist.
Must be able to read, write, and speak in English.
Outcomes
Upon completion of training and ARRT (M) registry, employee will be eligible to apply and be considered for any full‑time ISJ mammography opportunity.
Pay adjustment to mammographer market compensation.
Sign‑on bonus eligibility when converting to staff mammography role.
Potential to learn further breast imaging services.
Base compensation for this role is between $26.00 to $34.50 per hour. An additional 10% of base wage is offered during mammography training hours.
In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Invision Sally Jobe’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role, based on non‑discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The position will remain open until filled.
Radiology Imaging Associates offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, AD&D, EAP, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, PTO, and holiday pay for eligible employees. Part‑time employees may have access to some of these benefits on a pro‑rated basis. Full‑time employees will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
